Assignment 3
The social media application I will be talking about is Instagram. On average, I spend about two hours a day on Instagram. I only have access to Instagram on my phone, so that is the platform I frequently go on. When I was in high school, I used to open Instagram on my laptop as well if I did not have my phone on me, or when I posted something new and was nosy to see how my post was doing without going on my phone. I notice that I go on Instagram even when there is no purpose or even when I just got out of the application. But usually when I do go on it, I like posts/stories, watch stories or reels my friends send me, comment on people's post, or share posts that are related to the organization I am a part of, or even look for resources. I don't have a pattern of when I go throughout the day. But I notice that when I go on my phone at night before I go to sleep, I don't usually go on Instagram because I would go on TikTok instead.
